Beach Better is a family-owned golf cart rental, repair, tire, and sales business in Miramar Beach, Florida. We've been on the Emerald Coast since 2013. The work hasn't changed: keep carts running, keep renters happy, keep owners from dealing with the same issue twice.

Our Story

Beach Better started where most family businesses start: at a kitchen table, late at night, with two people weighing whether to take a leap.

The husband brought twenty years of experience turning wrenches at high-end car dealerships — the kind of place where craftsmanship mattered and details didn't get skipped. The wife brought a clear vision for the kind of customer experience she wanted to create. They felt called to build something of their own. They weren't sure how it would go. They were sure they had to try.

So they did — quietly, and the way most real small businesses actually start. The husband kept his W-2 job while the business found its footing. Nights and weekends in the shop. One truck. A handful of carts. No five-year plan, no investor deck, no marketing budget — just a willingness to show up, do the work well, and trust that the rest would follow. It took a couple of years before the business was stable enough to support the family on its own. The day it could was a day worth celebrating.

The first families who chose Beach Better gave us a chance before we'd really earned one. They told their neighbors. Their neighbors told property managers. Property managers told vacation rental owners. Year by year, season by season, by the grace of God and the kindness of customers willing to trust a small local shop, we grew — slowly, steadily, and gratefully. Today, we're one of the longest-running golf cart businesses on this stretch of coast — and we're still genuinely thankful every time somebody chooses us.

How It Runs Today

Two sisters run the brain of the business. Operations. Customer relationships. Scheduling. Marketing. The digital systems that make working with us feel effortless. Sisters work with a shorthand that takes most teams years to build — fast, direct, no hierarchy theater.

The founder still runs the mechanical heart of the shop — fleet, service, parts, every technical call about how a cart gets fixed and what gets fixed first. The kind of expertise that catches the misdiagnosis before it costs you a season. That doesn't get delegated.

The next generation is in training. Family kids who grew up around the shop are learning the work. We're not in a hurry to hand anything over. We're building something to last.

Mobile service across the full Emerald Coast — Destin, Miramar Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, the 30A corridor, Sandestin, Rosemary Beach, Seaside, WaterColor, WaterSound, Alys Beach, Grayton Beach, Blue Mountain Beach, Seagrove, Seacrest, and surrounding communities. We service in HOA-restricted communities for residents who own carts. Rental delivery is available only to specific approved neighborhoods — check the directory before booking.
