We are dedicated to providing our customers with all the information they need to make informed and confident vehicle rental or purchase decisions. Your trust is our priority, and we strive to ensure you have a clear understanding of our policies and practices.

Important: Vehicle Return Policy

Vehicles (golf carts and LSVs) are not eligible to return under any circumstances.

Assembled From Parts (ASPT) - Warranty Must-Knows

ASPT stands for "Assembled from Parts." This designation applies to vehicles that have been constructed or reconstructed using components from various sources, including different manufacturers or salvaged parts.

Vehicle History
This vehicle has been assembled from parts of various origins. The year listed on the title may not match the original manufacturing year of the cart.
Warranty & Liability
Beach Better provides no warranty, express or implied, on the performance, safety, or reliability of ASPT vehicles. The buyer assumes all risks associated with ownership and use.
Inspection & Certification
The vehicle has passed all required inspections and meets legal standards for roadworthiness. However, due to its assembled nature, performance and longevity may vary.
Resale Value
The ASPT designation may impact the vehicle's resale value. Buyers should consider this before completing their purchase.
Insurance Considerations

Insurance coverage and premiums for ASPT vehicles may differ from standard vehicles. Buyers are encouraged to consult with their insurance provider before purchase.

Service Appointments & Terms

Appointment Timing

Your start time listed on the appointment is our target, but consider it a guestimate, not a guarantee. At Beach Better, we believe in great service and a little flexibility. We might roll in up to an hour early or within an hour after your scheduled time. While we aim to be prompt, the techs and drivers are battling traffic and weather.

Access Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that your cart and its key are accessible at the scheduled time and location. If our technician arrives and cannot access the cart or key, the appointment will be considered a missed service. In such cases:

  • No refund will be issued
  • The appointment will not be rescheduled without payment of a new service fee

Cancellation Policy

Late Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 36 hours before the scheduled appointment time are non-refundable.
Administrative Fee
All cancellations and rescheduling requests, regardless of timing, are subject to a non-refundable $35 administrative fee.
Payment & Disputes

Payment is due in full at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. By booking a service, you agree not to initiate a credit card chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Service Department Inspections

Inspection Scope & Limitations

This inspection is a visual and operational assessment based on accessible components at the time of evaluation. Our recommendations are preliminary estimates that may change upon further disassembly, testing, or discovery of additional issues. Beach Better reserves the right to revise diagnoses and cost estimates as work progresses.

What We're Not Responsible For

  • Pre-existing conditions, wear items, or hidden defects not reasonably discoverable during inspection
  • Issues that develop after the inspection date
  • Problems caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, or lack of maintenance
  • Consequential damages resulting from cart downtime or repair delays
Documentation & Record Keeping

By authorizing this inspection, you consent to Beach Better documenting your cart's condition through photographs, notes, and diagnostic data. These records will be stored in your customer profile and may be shared with manufacturers, insurance companies, or legal representatives when necessary for warranty, liability, or safety purposes.

Estimates & Authorization

All cost estimates are valid for 30 days and subject to parts availability and market pricing. No work will be performed without your written authorization. Estimates do not constitute a guarantee of final repair costs, which may increase due to unforeseen complications.

Safety Disclaimer

This inspection does not certify the cart as safe for operation. Continued use of a cart with identified defects is at the owner's risk. Beach Better recommends immediate attention to all safety-related issues identified in this report.

Parts Department Return Policy

Return Period
Customers may return any accessory purchased from us within 7 days of the purchase date.
Condition Requirements
The part(s) returned item must be in the same condition as when it was sold.
Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price will be deducted from the refund amount.
Refund Timeline
Parts refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 14 business days.
Non-Returnable Items

Golf carts, LSVs, installed parts, special orders, and clearance items are sold "as-is" and cannot be returned nor exchanged. The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping.

Rental Policies & Florida LSV Laws

Rental Reservation Cancellation Policy

Within 10 Days
No refund for cancellations within 10 days of rental start date.
10+ Days Prior
$50 cancellation fee applies for cancellations made 10 or more days in advance.
Hurricane/Unforeseen Issues
Prorated refund for unused days only when Beach Better initiates cart pickup.
Violation of Law
No refund if driving on US Highway 98, without seat belts, or transporting children under 3 without a cart seat.

Rental Collision Protection (RCP)

  • Coverage: $20,000 max payout with $250 deductible
  • Cost: $20 per driver, per day
  • Important: This add-on is non-refundable once added

Operating Rules

Strictly Prohibited
  • No alcohol or drugs while operating the LSV
  • No cell phone use while driving
  • No driving on US Highway 98
  • No standing passengers - all must be seated and belted
  • No pets permitted
  • No items placed on roof

Important Reminders
  • You are responsible for confirming your rental neighborhood allows golf carts
  • Your car insurance is primary coverage
  • Report all damages immediately by texting 850-830-4699
  • Headlights must be manually turned on at night
  • We may pick up vehicles during severe weather for safety
