Sign Your Golf Cart Rental Agreement

Every Beach Better rental begins with a digital agreement, signed from your phone. No clipboards at the door, no surprise paperwork at delivery. Each approved driver signs a personal link sent by text and email, so the only thing left at delivery is the key handoff.

Quick Answer

How Do I Sign The Beach Better Rental Agreement?

The rental agreement is signed digitally before delivery. After you reserve, each driver on the reservation gets their own secure signing link by text and email. Open it, review the terms, upload a driver's license and insurance card, and sign from any phone. Two drivers are included with every reservation, and additional drivers can be approved for $15 each without ever visiting the store. Cannot find your link? Text (850) 830-4699 and we will resend it in minutes.

What Is In The Agreement

The signing link holds the full legal terms. Here is the plain-English summary of what you are agreeing to, so nothing in it surprises you.

01

Driver Requirements

Approved drivers must be 22 or older with a valid driver's license and active auto insurance in their own name. Every operator qualifies individually, and only approved, listed drivers may operate the vehicle. Letting anyone else drive is a prohibited use that voids coverage.

02

Insurance And Liability

Your own auto policy is the primary coverage during the rental under Florida law. The agreement spells out what that means, along with optional protection you can add before signing.

03

Where You Can Drive

Public roads posted 35 mph or less. Sidewalks, sand, trails, and US Highway 98 are all off-limits. Crossing 98 is legal only at a stoplight.

04

Battery And Charging

Electric vehicles get plugged in nightly, and that is on you. A tow for a battery nobody charged carries a fee the agreement discloses up front.

05

Cancellation Terms

The change window, the refund schedule, and how a cancellation inside the rental window is handled.

06

Return Conditions

Pickup time, location, and condition expectations. The price at booking is the price at return, and sand and normal wear never generate a charge.

The above is a summary, not the legal terms. Your signed agreement is the binding document.

Read This Before You Drive

A Low Speed Vehicle is a titled, registered motor vehicle, and it behaves differently than the car you drove down here. Signing the agreement confirms you understand these realities:

  • Seat belts are the only restraint on board. There are no doors and no airbags, so everyone buckles, every ride, every age. Children under 3 ride in a car seat you provide.
  • Sharp turns tip light vehicles. An LSV sits higher and weighs less than a car, so slow down before corners, keep every passenger fully seated, and never carry more people than there are seat belts. Most incidents come from turning too fast, not from driving straight.
  • Traffic moves faster than you do. Top speed is roughly 25 mph. Watch your mirrors, signal early, and hold your lane on shared roads.
  • US Highway 98 is a hard no. Florida prohibits LSVs on highways. An LSV found driving along 98 gets impounded, the rental ends without a refund, and recovery happens on law enforcement's schedule, not yours. Crossing 98 at a signalized intersection is legal and safe.
  • Impaired driving ends everything. A DUI in an LSV is a DUI, full stop. It also voids the rental.
  • Learn the vehicle before the first trip. The Renter Guide covers starting, charging or fueling, lights, and the parking brake, and the Florida LSV laws cover the rules of the road. Read both before you drive, and text any operating question to (850) 830-4699 first, not after.

The Legal Part, In Plain Sight

Three things Florida law says about your rental, disclosed here and again inside the agreement itself:

How The Process Works

01

Reserve The Vehicle

Pick your LSV, dates, and delivery address at rent.alwaysbeachbetter.com. About three minutes, start to finish.

02

Sign From Your Phone

Each driver's personal signing link lands by text and email. Review, upload license and insurance, sign. Best done the day before your rental begins.

03

Meet Your Vehicle

Delivery arrives in the 60-minute window confirmed at booking. Nothing to sign at the door, the paperwork was finished before we pulled up.

Signing Questions, Answered

How many drivers are included, and how do I add more?

Every reservation includes two approved drivers at no extra charge. Additional drivers are $15 each and get approved entirely by phone. Text us the driver's name at (850) 830-4699, they receive their own signing link, and they are approved in minutes. No store visit, no printed forms.

I never got my signing link. What now?

Check the text thread and inbox belonging to the phone number and email on the reservation, and peek at spam. Still nothing? Text (850) 830-4699 with your name and we will resend the link on the spot.

Do I need my own car insurance to rent an LSV?

Yes. Approved drivers must carry active auto insurance in their own name, and under Fla. Stat. 627.7263 your own policy is the primary coverage during the rental. You will attest that your policy covers Low Speed Vehicle rentals when you sign, and you should keep proof of insurance with you while driving. Optional Renter's Collision Protection is available as an add-on before signing.

What is the minimum age to drive the rental?

22, with a valid driver's license and active auto insurance. Every driver qualifies individually through their own signing link, and only approved, listed drivers may operate the vehicle.

Can I read the agreement before I book?

Absolutely. Text (850) 830-4699 and we will send a review copy of the current agreement, or walk through any clause with you before you commit. The plain-English summary above covers the major sections, the Rental FAQ covers everyday questions, and the full Terms and Policies page has every clause in one place.

Questions Before You Sign?

Reading the agreement and something is not clear? Text first. A real person will walk through any clause, fee, or expectation before you commit to anything.

Important: The rental agreement you sign through your personal signing link is the binding legal document between you and Beach Better. Any summary, FAQ, or description of the agreement on this page or elsewhere on alwaysbeachbetter.com is provided for convenience and does not modify or replace the signed agreement. If anything on this page appears to conflict with the signed agreement, the signed agreement governs.
