My golf cart won't move but makes a clicking noise—what's wrong?
Usually a dead battery, corroded terminals, or bad solenoid. Could also be a controller issue on newer carts. We offer same-day diagnostics to pinpoint it.
Why does my golf cart go slow uphill or lose power?
Weak batteries, worn motor brushes, or a failing speed controller. On gas carts, could be carburetor, belt, or clutch issues. Bring it in for a full diagnostic.
My golf cart batteries only last 2 hours—is that normal?
No. Healthy lead-acid batteries should get 20-25 miles; lithium 40+. You likely have a bad cell or need a full battery replacement. We do battery testing and replacement.
Golf cart jerks or stutters when I accelerate—what's causing it?
Often a dirty or failing speed controller, bad throttle sensor, or loose wiring. On gas carts, check the carburetor and fuel filter. We'll diagnose and fix it.
My golf cart charger won't turn on or stops mid-charge
Could be a blown fuse, bad outlet, charger failure, or batteries too dead to trigger the charger. We repair and replace chargers for all brands.
Golf cart makes grinding noise when braking—is it safe to drive?
No. That's metal-on-metal, meaning worn brake pads or damaged drums. Stop driving and schedule brake service immediately.
Why won't my golf cart go in reverse?
Usually a faulty F/R switch, bad micro-switch, or controller issue. On gas carts, could be linkage or transmission. We fix forward/reverse problems same-day.
My electric golf cart won't charge after sitting all winter

Of course—that's our bread and butter. Decades of experience on DS, Precedent, Tempo, RXV, TXT, Drive, and all legacy models. Gas and electric.
Are aftermarket golf cart parts worth it?
Depends on the part. Aftermarket tires, seats, and accessories—usually fine. Controllers, motors, and chargers—stick with OEM or quality brands. We'll advise what's safe to save on.

Do I need a license to drive a golf cart in Florida?
Yes—valid driver's license required to operate a golf cart or LSV on public roads in Florida. No special golf cart license needed, just your regular license.
