STEP 1: FIND IT ABOVE GAS TANK
Raise the middle seats by the armrest
You’ll notice the lockbox positioned above the gas tank.
STEP 2: HOW TO OPEN LOCKBOX
Enter 4 digit code
Line up the four digits, then slide the black button downward. The lockbox will pop open, revealing your key inside.
What’s the code? We've emailed it to all approved drivers in your group the day before your rental began and again on your rental start date. You also received it via text when your cart rental began.

📋 Refueling cart Before Returning | Fill it Up With 87 Unleaded
When it's time to return your street legal gas-powered golf cart rental, top off the tank with 87 Unleaded.
If you'd rather not worry about refueling, text 850-830-4699 to prepay for your gas. We'll handle the refuel for you (saves you a trip to the gas station!) and bill the card on file +$18.50.
If you forget to refuel before returning and have not added Prepaid Fuel in advance then we will bill $30.00 to the primary renter's credit card on file.

⚠️ GENTLY TURN KEY | NEVER FORCE
The key goes in one way only. If you insert it into the ignition upside-down and twist, it will break off in the ignition leaving you stranded. Never force the ignition to turn; it has been inserted wrong if it’s not turning.

nIGHT DRIVE GLOW LIGHTS
Add some sparkle to your nighttime cruises with your cart’s party glow setup. Switch up colors, patterns, and speeds to fit your mood.
1. Start your cart
Insert the key into ignition and turn it until the dashboard lights come on.
2. Turn on the glow system
Grab the small silver remote control (attached by Velcro to your dashboard) and press Power.
3. Set your vibe
Use the remote to choose your preferred colors, modes, and speed levels.
Remote Control Buttons
Power: turns your system on and off.
Mode: cycles through Solid, 7 Running Modes, Pulse, 3 Scan Modes, 3 Strobe Modes, 3 Fade Modes, S.O.S Mode, 4 Music Modes, and 4 Voice Modes.
Color: lets you choose from Red, Hot Pink, Pink, Purple, Orange, Yellow, Green, Teal, Blue, White, Color Cycle, and Color Fade.
Speed: adjusts speed across 5 levels.
Auto Functions
Enable Auto On/Off Function
Press and hold down the Mode and Color buttons on the control box. After the teal color lights up, turn on the kit and test for functionality.
Disable Auto On/Off Function
Press and hold down the Mode and Speed buttons on the control box. After the orange color lights up, turn on the kit and test for functionality.
Troubleshooting
Lights off?
Check the blue-light switch by looking low on the dashboard for a black switch with a blue indicator light. Flip it to the ON position, as someone may have accidentally bumped it off.
Lights still off?
Verify your dashboard is lit (if not, turn the ignition key). Don't adjust any other toggle switches on the dashboard—they control power to the glow system.

🎶 BT SOUNDBAR GUIDE | GAS RENTAL
Turning On: Start the cart, then press and hold the power button on the soundbar with your finger until you hear "Speaker on, ready to connect." (Note: There is no remote control for the soundbar)
Turning Off: Briefly press the power button with your finger to shut down the soundbar.
Bluetooth Connection
Pairing Your Phone: Open your device's Bluetooth settings and select "EcoXGear SE-18" to connect.
Understanding the LED Indicators
Flashing Blue: Pairing mode active
Solid Blue: Successfully connected and ready to play
Volume Control
Changing Volume: Tap the volume buttons for small adjustments. Hold them down to raise or lower the volume continuously.
Party Glow Lights
The soundbar has its own independent light system separate from the wheel well and underbody lights controlled by your key fob remote. Both systems work together for maximum party effect!
Front-Facing Party Lights: Press the button with two sunshine icons to activate the LED glow lights. Press multiple times to cycle through solid colors or pulse modes.
Rear LED Strip Light: Press the button next to the light button to turn on the rear LED strip.
Additional Features
Mode Button: Briefly press to cycle through: Bluetooth → EcoCast Transmitting → EcoCast Receiving → FM → AUX-IN
EcoTalk Voice Assistant: Press and hold for 3 seconds to activate your device's voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, etc.)

WHEN YOUR RENTAL IS STARTING
🔐 LOCKBOX & KEY: The lockbox code will be sent to approved drivers via email twice. Once the day before your rental and a second time as soon as your cart is ready for use.
⏰ TIMING: We’ll have it clean and ready by the start time of your reservation. We’ll holler if it’s ready a smidge early.
GETTING DELIVERY? Due to the high volume of deliveries and pickups we manage daily, your golf cart may arrive earlier than your scheduled delivery time. If this happens, you're welcome to start enjoying it right away! Please note that we cannot delay deliveries based on property manager preferences. In such cases, the LSV will be parked neatly to the side, out of the way, ensuring it never interferes with property management turnover activities. To maintain our schedule and keep prices competitive, we route our drivers based on geographic efficiency rather than individual reservation end times. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility—it helps us serve the dozens of families we work with each day! 🌞
END-OF-RENTAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the key into the lock box and scramble up the numbers so it's secured.
GAS: Top off the tank with 87 Unleaded before returning. If you forget, we’ll handle it and bill the primary renter's credit card a $30 fee. Text 850-830-4699 to add Prepaid Fuel service in advance to get a discounted price.
2. Text (850) 830-4699 when it’s ready for pickup by our driver. We’ll be there when the rental ends or not long after, depending on the timing of the driver’s route.

⭐ CART-FRIENDLY AREAS
Check with your property manager to ensure your neighborhood or resort permits Beach Better gas and electric rental carts before placing your reservation. We do our best to ensure your fun, but ultimately, ensuring your rental neighborhood allows for golf cart rentals is your responsibility.
Many HOAs allow property owners to loan their carts to their guests but some do not allow guests to rent carts from outside providers.
To review which neighborhoods we know do not permit rental carts, click here. Obtain confirmation from your property manager in writing that a Beach Better low speed vehicle cart will be welcome at your condo or resort. ⚠️ Caution: If you rent a cart that you're unable to use due to HOA restrictions, the cancellation policy will apply.
